Is Resume Teacher really free?

Yes. Your first resume and first cover letter are completely free. Download unlimited PDFs with no watermarks and no hidden fees. You only pay if you choose to upgrade for more document slots or AI features.

Do I need to create an account?

You need an account to save your resume and access it later. Signing up takes less than a minute with your email address.

Can I import my existing resume?

Yes. Use the “Import existing resume” option to upload your current resume and have the editor pre-fill your information.

Is Resume Teacher available on mobile?

Yes. The builder works in your mobile browser. For the best editing experience, a desktop or laptop is recommended.

Templates & design

Are all templates free?

Yes. All 30+ resume and 15+ cover letter templates are available on the Free plan. No upgrade required to use any design.

Are the templates ATS-compatible?

All Resume Teacher templates are designed to pass Applicant Tracking System (ATS) scans. They use clean, structured formatting without graphics that block text extraction.

Can I switch templates without losing my content?

Yes. Your data is stored separately from the template. Switch templates at any time and all your content carries over instantly.

Can I use a custom color on my resume?

Can I create a cover letter that matches my resume?

Yes. The cover letter builder imports your name, contact info, and design settings from your resume to create a perfectly matched pair.

Can I write my cover letter in another language?

Yes. You can write in Spanish, German, Japanese, or virtually any language to reach international employers.

How many cover letters can I have?

Billing & account

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. Cancel before your next billing date and you won’t be charged again. Your paid features remain active until the period ends.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payments are processed securely through Resume Teacher’s payment processor. Standard credit and debit cards are accepted.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Account Settings and select the option to delete your account. This permanently removes all your data. Contact [e-mail] for data deletion requests.

How does Resume Teacher protect my data?
